…over 31k already? I am certainly on a roll.

Maybe it was John’s challenge. 60,000 words in 30 days? Hmm… Consider the challenge accepted. It’s on.

Who knows? At my pace, I might actually manage to do just that. Seriously, my current estimates have me breaking the 50,000 mark around November 21 or 22.

The metrics aside, I’m still super excited about what I’ve got going here. I’m still really engaged in the story and it seems to be getting better and better. I need to wonder why I haven’t tried something like this before. Excerpted from my “side log”:

  • note to self: IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE PERFECT
    • plenty of time for revisions
