Writing location: everywhere but The Chair…

NaNoWriMo: 25-Nov

Well… I made it. Squeezed in 3,048 words today to meet the goal. I would not exactly say that the story is finished.  (My “ending” is too … er … Stephensonian for that to be the case…) I feel like I could squeeze another 50,000 out of this tale. But To rock a 50k draft in 25 days is … well, it’s a remarkable feat and a really good feeling. I would like to thank my lovely partner A. for putting up with my single-mindedness these last couple weeks as well as the NaNoWriMo community for all their support. (Especially the Wrangler ‘WriMos and the ‘WriMos from Flickr … ya’ll are the best.) Now for the fun part:

Today’s Oblique Strategy: Go to an extreme, then come back to a more comfortable place.

Final NaNoWriMo Word Count: 50,688 of 50,000 (101.38%) [NOTE: their system says 50,640 — but really, who’s counting?]
