I’d originally had today set as my 80,000 word finish-that-first-draft deadline. I doubt I’ll hit that by bedtime but I’ve already put a lot of energy into the project this weekend. That said, I just finished one of the climactic chapters (plot-wise) and am taking a lunch break. Hot damn but it feels good to be this close. Even with the looming, taxing requirements that the second draft is already whispering in my ear.

Wow, 50,000+ words, that is epic!
I know this might be a dumb question, but in summary, what is the novel about?
Also, what is your new email addy, I only have the .mac address on file? Send me an email if you get the chance.
Hmm, indeed, I should probably comment on that. Book-jacket-style synopsis to come this week!
