We’re fans of the brief vacation around here. We’re just back from a quick jaunt out to Waterville Valley for our annual family get-together and some skiing. Or in this case, snowboarding. We even got A. out on the mountain this year:

One of the things that was especially nice about this year was the surprise of my brother’s arrival on Saturday. So I finally got to meet my nephews:

But not only that, we had four generations all in one spot:
