sick day
¶ by Rob FrieselNon-stop catches up with a person… No sooner did we finish digging out from the Valentine’s Blizzard, than was I off for the annual family gathering at Waterville Valley. And no sooner did I get back from that than my parents followed for a brief stop-over 1. Anyway, it was a good visit and we shared in some excellent food (my dessert from The Bearded Frog is pictured at left) but I felt something coming on last night.
Unfortunately, a good night’s sleep was not in the cards and I arose to find myself in rather a shabby state. That said, we’re keeping it low key today. Some soup, some tea (with honey, of course), and some rest. Too bad I’m restless by nature.
- My youngest brother has taken an interest in Champlain College, it seems.[↩]
