The Jacket

The Jacket – – think Memento without the harsh nihilism. Adrien Brody is Jack Starks, a Purple Heart-ish Gulf War vet that gets stuck with a murder charge and packed away to an institution in Vermont. (“Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity” is not without its malign.) This tale spins nice moral/ethical circles re: what one does with knowledge of the future without expending the majority of its energy on the fabrication of the paradox. (See also: Primer.)

Fucking incredible.
