Always wait until you’re about to turn the page in to Spring to make you New Year Resolutions…:

• toughen up (being nice and supportive is great and all but sometimes threats are the only medicine)
• re-learn all that MySQL stuff like I said I was going to
• bite the bullet and learn a little Java
• stop agreeing to do things I know ahead of time are pointless
• learn more “hammer swinging” skills (like A said, “that drywall can’t look any worse than it does now — why not try to fix it ourselves?”)
