anti-Sith-esis

I’ve fallen victim to the Revenge of the Sith hype– partly to blame is the Chikin Sandowichi post referencing the l33t parody trailer (funniest thing I’ve seen since “Mortor”). I guess it’s not the worst thing ever, I just find myself with lowered expectations of Lucas. Special effects are nice but can I at least get a side of decent dialog?

I suppose I’ll echo so much other sentiment in that I’m looking for some closure on it. I’ve made a bargain with my youngest brother to go see it. Mostly to keep A out of harm’s way. Suffering through …Clones was more than enough and it really is a testament to our relationship that she didn’t leave me on the spot. Then again, I didn’t exactly leave the theater feeling like I’d gotten my $9’s worth either.

That being said, the trailers I’ve seen for Sith so far have my interest piqued. I readily recognize that I had the same pique when viewing the Clones trailers as well and so I’m not deluding myself into thinking it will be “good” or even “better”. I think I just want to see Hayden Christensen get his ass kicked into fiery near-death by Ewan McGregor.
