For those unfamiliar with the Oblique Strategies, may I recommend Gregory Taylor’s site on the subject. Short version? Musician Brian Eno and artist Peter Schmidt, faced with the “creator’s block” problem faced by all creative folks posited a series of cards printed with simple statements intended as kick-starts for any session that results in feeling jammed up.
The Oblique Strategies have appeared on websites of mine for years. Anyway, I’m releasing the above “Widget” as basically freeware. Creative Commons licensed as above.
