get oblique

blurgle and blargh

by Rob Friesel

Though perhaps a bit early for my quarterly reflection on those personal goals, I feel like getting it off my chest:  things are not moving along at last year’s speedy clip.  I’ve scarcely written1, I’m only on book #3 for the year, and progress on Ortho is slow at best — many fits and starts.  Walking is going pretty well, though most weeks manage to come up like 0.2 miles short.  Even climbing seems spotty due to scheduling conflicts with partners.

Not that things are going poorly in all aspects.  I’m just a little embarrassed at the above.

Plowing ahead just the same…

Not reading usually makes me feel mentally and physically uncomfortable. That’s one reason I like goodreads…the progress meter on “currently reading” ensures I don’t forget to incorporate reading into my daily routine.
