Monday a.m. round-up
¶ by Rob FrieselFirst… Some hot linking action via Boing^2:
- 17th Annual China Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Fair – – snow and ice festival in “China’s northernmost (and easternmost) metropolis”. Neat pics.
- Hunter S. Thompson’s ashes go out with a bang
- R.I.P. Bob Moog.
Spent the weekend catching up on house chores. Recycling, birthday present for Mom, and finally (finally!) finished painting the upstairs landing. Ran out of masking tape to actually do the stairs though. /sigh I was out of energy by then anyway. Trim-work is hard to do. Especially with old brushes. Got a lot of work done on my novel as well. Not so much in the writing department as in the “hammering out some of those details” – – got a nice clear picture of where to go next as we round it out. At this pace, ought to have a 1st draft done by year’s end. (But who’s counting?)
