Writing location: just The Chair…

I’m cutting myself off tonight.

I’m right on the cusp of the second “major” event of the story and the culmination of what I’m thinking of (in my head) as “Act II” — but that’s just it.

The words aren’t there for that scene. Not tonight.  Not that we had any trouble:

A. is pissed.  She says that dinner is ruined because she cannot find the crockpot.  At my desk, I turn around to discover that I had brought it into the office to cook my lunch.  I mention this to her and the anger is now directed my way.  How could I be so stupid as to ruin our dinner plans like that?
