Burlington rocks their 4th of July fireworks on the 3rd. A happy Independence Day to one and all. Now go set off some bottle rockets or something. Don’t worry, Holden will sleep through it. Above image also at Flickr.
With the second quarter of ’08 now closed, we should check in on our progress for those personal goals stated back in January. At the end of Q1, we were doing pretty well with with writing, reading, and climbing even though walking/running were not up to par (and hiking hadn’t been touched at all). Overall […]
Maybe a little? Mini-update: things are going well. The last 24-36 hours have been one crazy ride but we feel pretty good 1. We’ve gotten a lot of support from friends and family and the wonderful pediatrician that we found. Weird new rhythms though, that’s for sure. A little tired, perhaps, but good.[↩]

Second round of garden plantings today. Put the butternut and acorn squash in the ground; ditto to the herbs 1 and marigolds. Finished twining up the pea teepees, as well. Italian parsley, Greek oregano, Thai basil, and an apparently non-ethnic coriander/cilantro.[↩]
