Took longer to hit 1,700 than I expected.  Still optimistic that I’ll make it this year… (How can I be doubting myself only 4 days into it?)

Forced myself up and over the 1,700 word goal for the night just to try to keep my slight edge. Â But I was dragging my way there. Â Tomorrow will be better.

Ran out of steam mid-scene.  But that’s OK—I’m like a day and a half ahead of schedule.

The copy/pasted/validated word count came in as 50,198… …but that was a story without an ending.
